[Letter] 1806 Oct. 23, Mount Dillon [to] Charles Carroll of Carrollton & Company / Carroll.

Daniel Carroll inquires about the purchased of a small parcel of land owned by Charles Carroll of Carrollton & Co. Charles Carroll (1737-1832), the father (a signer of the U. S. Declaration of Independence) and son (1775-1825) of the same name, were both alive at the time of the letter and were related to Daniel Carroll; most likely the letter is essentially addressed to the father.
